Pizza Tart with Artichokes

400g pizza dough

1 egg

2 small frankfurter sausages

1 jar artichokes (I used Valbona Sardinian Prickly Artichokes DOP)

100g chopped mozzarella

 1 potato


1 - You can use your favourite recipe for the pizza dough.

2 - Roll out the ball of dough and line a tin, keeping aside a little dough to make some strips.

3 - Arrange some very thin slices of potato (preferably cut with a mandoline slicer or meat slicer), the artichokes cut into wedges, the frankfurter sausages cut into rounds and the chopped mozzarella in the tin.

4 - Beat the egg and pour it over the pizza tart.

5 - Roll out some strips of dough and place them over the tart to obtain the classic lattice pattern.

6 - Brush with a little egg yolk.

 5 - Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes. Adjust the cooking time and temperature according to your oven.
